if you're seeking a reason to smile and perhaps nod in appreciative agreement about "the good ol' days”, you might find a landing place here.
Give us a listen and see if you can stop with just one episode, but rather find yourself "hooked" on the peeks you'll get into a time long past but regularly yearned for.

THE PRIMROSE CHRONICLES
THE VOICE FROM THE GLASS BOOTH ON HIGH
In an era known for its Rock & Roll music and performers, many Boomer teens were even more connected to the on air radio personalities who spun the platters on the top radio stations across the nation.
These “disc jockeys” had their faithful followings who listened as much for their comments as the records they played.
Every decent-sized town had them, but for a few years in the late 50’s/early 60’s Indianapolis had Dick Summer, broadcasting live weeknights from Merrill’s Hi-Decker Drive In on WIBC, 1070 AM
Dick went on to major markets in Boston & NYC, earning him R&R Hall of Fame On Air Personality notoriety.
Episode 213 of TPC is an interview w/ the guy with the velvet voice, Dick Summer, about those years in Indy. It’s filled w/ anecdotes & stories of his Hoosier years behind the microphone and much more.
It’s a special installment
Enjoy!!
